Russell “Rusty” Esvelt, owner, received his gunsmith training from Ashworth College, Atlanta, GA as an honor graduate. Also he has studied with The American Gunsmithing Institute as a certified AR-15/M4 Riflesmith, as well as completing various Armorer’s Courses on handguns, rifles and shotguns.

Russell is a retired United State Army veteran, a member of the National Rifle Association, the Gun Club of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Federal Firearms License and Conceal Carry Permit holder.

Services:

Inspection of the firearm at no charge to determine what it may cost to repair the firearm. This includes rifles, pistols, revolvers and shotguns. All firearms are test fired at my firing range to ensure the firearm is functioning properly upon completion of repair.

Services include:

• General Cleaning of any firearm: I completely disassemble the entire weapon, including the bolt and check for any worn parts, clean and reassemble, and test fire for proper operation.
• Cold Bluing: Will do cold bluing of older firearms that have rusted and need to be stripped down to the bare metal and re-blued.
• Customer transfers of firearm purchased from a website company: I will accept the shipment of a firearm from a reputable company, provide I am notified by the customer prior to the order, so that I may contact the company and provide them with my FFL and State Tax ID. I will then have the customer come and complete the ATF 4473 form and file it for a fee of $20.00.
• Warranty Firearms: I provide services to contact the company that the warranty firearm is from and send it to them and receive shipment back, providing the customer the convenience of not having to be home when it arrives by Fedex or UPS.
• Repair work: All repair work is guaranteed for 30 days.
